Colorado River Region (Southeastern California) Cultures

Including the Mohave (moe•HAH•vee) and Yuma (YOO•mah) people. These people lived along the Colorado River in southeastern California. The Mohave lived in the northern section of the Colorado River in California while the Yuma lived along the southern portion of the Colorado River.  Also includes the Chemehuevi, Halchidhoma, Kohuana, and some western Arizona and northwestern Mexico peoples.
