Northeastern California Cultures

Including the Modoc (MOE•doc) and Achumawi (uh•KOE•muh•wee) people. The Modoc people originally lived around the Klamath and Tule lakes. The Achumawi inhabited the area along the Pit River in the far northeastern corner of California.
